Owned by the Dubery family since 1980, Herdade D. Pedro is situated in Terena, within the municipality of Alandroal, just a few kilometres from the Spanish border, with the idyllic Alqueva as its backdrop. In 1992, Anthony John Dubery established the first agritourism venture in the Alandroal municipality at the estate, positioning it as a sustainable and authentic tourism enterprise.

In addition to its tourism activities, Herdade D. Pedro operates as a certified organic agricultural production centre, responsible for the rearing of various animals, including cattle, sheep, and horses. The estate also features an organic vegetable garden, the produce of which may be brought directly to your table.
